Discuss the term D/A conversion.
D/A conversion: Digital-to-analog or analog-to-digital conversions are two very significant aspects of digital data processing. Digital-to-analog includes conversion of digital data in equivalent analog data. For illustration, the output of a digital system may be converted to analog by using a D/A converter for driving a servomotor that drives the cursor arm of a plotter or a pen recorder. This clearly demonstrates in this instance DAC emulating decoding device action.
