QUESTION

Albert approaches the National Transport Authority to have a taxi's license. The Chairman of the Authority, Mr. Smith, agrees to give him a license provided that Albert gives him a sum of 10000 rupees for that purpose. Albert also uses some threat against the vice-chairman of the authority, Mr. Drew, so that he is sure to obtain a license. Albert also approaches his brother in law, Mr. John a member of the Authority, to use his influence so that he can get a license in return for a reward. Discuss the parties' criminal liability under the Prevention of Corruption Act 2002.
