Q. Concerning their final products daughter cells and their ploidies what are the differences between meiosis and mitosis?

In mitosis one cell for illustration with 2n chromosomes duplicates its chromosomal set and divides generating two other cells each with 2n chromosomes too. In meiosis one diploid cell (2n) duplicates its chromosomes too but four cells with n chromosomes are generated.
