Difference between DNA and RNA

DNA

RNA

DNA has a double helix structure.

RNA comprises a single helix structure.

Its Sugar unit is deoxyribose.

Its Sugar unit is Ribose.

Its Base units are adenine, guanine, thyamine and cytosine.

RNA consists of uracil base despite of thyamine, other bases being same as those in DNA.

DNA is Responsible for inheritance of character.

RNA is accountable for protein synthesis.
