The length of tube is reduced by 1.5mm and the length of tube is 1500mm. if temp. of assembly is raised by 40^o . Find the axial stress in bolt and tube before and after heating. Provided that :

Es = 2 x 105 N/mm²

Eb = 1 x 10⁵ N/mm²

s = 1.2 x 10^-5 N/^oC

b = 1.9 x 10^-5 N/^oC
