If each interior angle of a regular polygon has a calculated as of 144 degrees, Determine the numbers of sides does it have?
a. 8
b. 9
c. 10
d. 11
c. The measure of an angle of a regular polygon of n sides is n - 2 × 180. Since each angle calculates 144°, we will answer for n, the number of sides. Using the formula 144 = n - 2 × 180, answer for n. Multiply both sides by n, 144n = (n - 2)180. Divided by 180, 144n = 180n - 360. Subtract 180n from both sides, -36n = -360. Divide both sides by -36, n = 10. The polygon has 10 sides.
Based upon the primary sources, describe at least three characteristics that mark the early modern world as distinctly different than the Medieval world that preceded it. You might
Find the value of p and q for which the system of equations represent coincident lines 2x +3y = 7, (p+q+1)x +(p+2q+2)y = 4(p+q)+1 Ans: a 1 = 2, b 1 = 3, c 1 = 7 a 2 =
Vector Functions We very firstly saw vector functions back while we were looking at the Equation of Lines. In that section we talked about them as we wrote down the equation o
Parametric Equations and Curves Till to this point we have looked almost completely at functions in the form y = f (x) or x = h (y) and approximately all of the formulas that w
(1) Prove that Zorn's lemma is equivalent to axiom of choice. (2) Use Zorn's Lemma to prove the existence of E.
Multiplication of complex numbers After that, let's take a look at multiplication. Again, along with one small difference, it's possibly easiest to just think of the complex n
