Determine the Medical History - Assessment

 A child's medical history often contains predictors of neuropsychological functioning. Perhaps the most obvious predictor is the presence of some documented brain abnormality or insult. For instance, closed head injuries during childhood can clearly compromise cognitive and behavioural function. Similarly seizure disorders are frequently associated with neuropsychological deficits
