It is important to remember that the major foot problem in diabetic patient occurs because of neuropathy (75-90%). Chronic Complications of Diabetes Mellitus and Management regarding neuropathy. Nerve function impairment takes place in diabetic patient due to various reasons including metabolic and poor blood supply to nerves. Assessment and management of diabetic neuropathy is often overlooked or forgotten.
