There are five major demographic processes, which are continually at work within the population namely, fertility, mortality, marriage, migration and social mobility. You would realize that these processes which determine the size, composition, distribution and development of the population. The health of the population depends upon the dynamic relationship between the number of people, the space, which they occupy, and the skill that they have acquired in providing for their needs.
