Determine the atomic radius of FCC, Chemistry

Atomic radius (r):

 As we known, the corner atoms do not touch each other. But, each corner atom touches the face centered atoms with the diagonal of the face of the cube as shown in figure.

As, the two corner atoms (A & C) situated at the opposite ends of the similar face can be joined by drawing a diagonal.
