Solution:
(a) The frequency of the stator voltage is from (1.1): f = pn/60 = 8.600/60 = 80-Hz.
The voltage generated per phase is using (1.4):
Eφ = 4.44 .80.450.0.025 = 3996 - V ≈ 4 - kV.
(b) The voltage across the stator terminals (line-to-line) is VLL = √3. 3996 = 6921.3 -V.
