Describe Three Ways to Write Negative Fractions?

There are three different ways that a negative fraction can be written. They are all represent the same value.
1. The negative sign can be written to the left of the numerator.
2. The negative sign can be written to the left of the denominator.
3. The negative sign can be written to the left of the fraction bar.

Examples:
-1/4 = (-1)/4 = 1/(-4) is read" negative one fourth"
-1/3 = (-1)/3 = 1(-3) is read" negative one third
