Q. Describe about consumable electrode?

This type of electrode is prepared from metal. Its one end is kept in electrode holder and then electric supply is passed through it. This electrode melts during welding process and it works as filler metal. These electrodes are of two types: (1) bare electrodes (2) coated electrodes.
