When numbers are listed according to a particular pattern, we call the list a sequence. In a sequence, the numbers are separated by commas.Each number in a sequence is called a term. Example 1:2, 4, 6, 8, 10, 12, ... The pattern is add 2 to the previous term.A sequence in that you always add or subtract the same number is called an arithmetic sequence.
