Define Ways of providing the anti slip device - By Embedment?

A recess can be created in the bed block in which the elastomeric pad will be placed. The functioning of the recess as an anti-slip device is same as that of the stopper plate. The bearing is usually glued to the girder with an epoxy resin. A typical detail is shown at Figure.
