The code specifies that water cement ratio for the neat cement grouts should be approximately 0.50 by mass. It should never exceed 0.55 by mass of cement. The compressive strength of the 100 mm cubes of the grout material should not be less than 17 N/mm2 at the age of 7 days. It is specified that the cubes should be cured in a moist atmosphere for the first 24 hours and subsequently in water.
