Define Recommendations for PTFE?

(a) It can be either of the two forms given below:

(i) Dimpled large sheet

It may be circular or rectangular divided maximum into four parts. For dimpled sheets with smallest dimension exceeding 100 mm (dia. or smaller side of rectangle), the contact area shall be taken as gross area without deduction for the area of the dimples.

(ii) Arrayed (without dimples)

Distance between individual modules shall not be greater than 10 mm. Thickness of PTFE and its protrusion from recess depends upon maximum plan dimension as given in Table.
