Define Important Food Sources of Protein?

The important sources of proteins in the diets of low-income groups are cereals and legumes. Meat, fish, eggs and milk are important sources of proteins of high biological value. Oilseeds, oilseed meals and soy are rich potential sources of proteins. The protein content of some important foods is given in Table.
