Criminal Appeal - District Magistrate's Court

Therefore in Section 10(1) of the Magistrate's Courts Act gives that any person that who is convicted of an offence on the trial held through a magistrate's court of the third class may inside fourteen days appeal against his  sentence or conviction or may both, for the Resident Magistrate's Court. 

However there is no right of appeal for a person that who pleaded guilty and was convicted on the plea or extent except or as to the legality of the sentence.  Whether there a person charged with an offence has been acquitted the Attorney General may appeal against the acquittal.
