Cori Cycle

Skeletal muscles have some mitochondria, yet are competent of vigorous activity. as a output, the little stores of oxygen are rapidly depleted, causing the muscle tissues to operate fundamentally anaerobically. The Cori Cycle is a pathway in carbohydrate metabolism which links this anaerobic glycolysis within muscle tissue to gluconeogenesis in the liver.
