The Concept Development journal must contain:

An introductory paragraph detailing what conclusions you have drawn from your research and how you intend to proceed. This should be approx 150-250 words and should be written immediately after your research and before you begin developing concepts.

10 scanned examples of concept sketches showing the development of your ideas and composition. We will not be judging you on the quality of your drawing skills merely whether you have explored your ideas fully. Include explanatory notes with the sketches to detail what you have done and why.

A paragraph detailing what conclusions you have come to after your concept development. This is the template for your final animation and should include notes on compositional elements, timelines for the animation etc.

The concept development journal must be submitted as either a word document or as a pdf file. All images used should be included within the word or pdf file and not as seperate files.
