Specify the things needed for a nurse-led primary health care practice relating to childhood obesity. In particular, you need to do the following two things:

(a) Indicate:

• What nurses would need to know, understand, be aware of in relation to childhood obesity, if they are to have a primary health care approach (PHC)
• What sorts of services would be best to offer
• Who would be approached, contacted, addressed in a PHC service approach to childhood obesity What community resources, institutions, etc would/could be involved
• How the relevant population in the community would be informed about your service - in an effective way, that is, a way which will likely result in their taking advantage of the service

(b) Explain briefly how your recommendations in (a) are relevant to addressing the problem of childhood obesity.
