Briefly describe the different kinds of users of a DBMS. 

Ans: Different sorts of DBMS users are:

(a)  Software Engineers: These are the people accountable for developing application programs by using DBMS.

(b)  End users: These are the people whose jobs need access to the database for querying, updating, and producing reports.

(c)  Database Administrator: They are accountable for authorizing access to the  database, coordinating and monitoring its use.

(d)  Database designers: They are accountable for identifying data to be stored in the database.
