ATI Probation Case Plan: For this assignment you will review the case study provided to you for the Module 7 discussion (I emailed it to you) and Watch the PBS Frontline video embedded to the left (click through to full episode) if you have not already done so.

After completing those tasks, you are to conduct reserch on juvenile probation case plans, offender treatment options, comunity reintigration and anything else that you feel might assist you in completeing this assignment.  

Your product to be delivered (assigment submitted to me) is a juvenile probation case plan.  I expect this case plan to be drafted and thoroughly designed as if you were submitting this to the court (and your supervisor) for approval.  Feel free to use the case plan examples found on the web for inspiration.

This is an opportunity to apply your course learning thus far and make recommendations that address the needs of the individual presented in the case.  What I expect to see is a thoughtful plan that contains at least the minimum of what I could find in any probation file along with the inclusion of (at the least) idetification and descriptions of what interventions and offender treatment options might be appropraite for Hakim.  Additionally, I want to see you integrate your opinions of what theories of criminal behavior might apply to this individual and how might they affect the administration of alternative interventions (roadblocks). 

This assignment requires that you reflect on what you've learned thus far and extend yourselves a bit.

While there is no specific lengh requirment for this assignment, I will expect a thorough document reflective of academic upper level analytical study.  In other words, don't short change the document as it will be reflected in your grade.
