Advantages of Expert System
The system, once set up, requires to be tested employing data with known outcomes to see if it functions correctly.
If it's being used to diagnose faults, expert system will output the probable fault and how to deal/rectify with the problem. Generally a % probability of the accuracy of diagnosis will be given so end user can decide whether or not to accept recommendations.
