Time constant at decay of current
In decay of current by an inductor, a method to find values of time constant similar as in rise of current through an inductor. The differences are value of current decay from maximum value (IM) to minimum (0), and value 63.2% replaced with 36.8% which is 100% - 63.2%.
If E b /N 0 = 20 in a coherent ASK system, find the value of Eb/N0 that is needed in a noncoherent ASK system to yield the same value of Pe as the coherent system.
