           Machine molding is suitable for the faster and uniform quality moulds, needed for mass production of castings. For preparing the moulds, various moulding machines are used. Majority of the operations like ramming the sand, pattern withdrawal and possible to obtain uniform mould hardness.

           In machine moulding the operation is very fast homogeneous and suitable for any size of casting. Though, the initial cost is high and complicated shapes cannot be obtained with machine moulding.
