An equilibrium refinement provides how of choosing one or many equilibria from among several in a very game. several games might contain many Nash equilibria, and therefore supply no clear prediction concerning the seemingly outcome. every refinement tries to outline some equilibria as "more seemingly," "more rational" or "more robust" to deviations by players than others. for instance, if one equilibrium Pareto dominates another (results in all players earning a lot of ), then it should be viewed as a lot of seemingly to be chosen by the players.
