When it comes to success in fashion retailing Zara comes in the top ranks. The company has its operations in more than 59 countries. The idea behind this paper is to plug the loopholes that have been there in the literature written earlier. The idea is to analyze the internationalization process of Zara and to understand the marketing strategies of the company.

Zara is the most well known brand in terms of fashion and is owned by the Fashion major from Spain Inditex (Zara, 2012). From a middle aged mother to teenage daughter all people like to purchase the products from Zara. The first Zara store was opened way back in 1975 in La Coruna.
