You are planning and directing a large youth baseball tournament utilizing multiple venues. Unfortunately, the day of the event is preceded by four days of heavy rain, rendering the fields unplayable. You do have two artificial turf fields that have been offered as available, but with 12 teams scheduled over one weekend, you may be forced to move all of the games and make a new schedule based on two fields instead of the original six. Please fully discuss solutions for this problem and contingency planning that might have mitigated the problems that have arisen due to weather.
