TASK 1:

Scenario: You are employed in one of the corporations in Oman that manufactures all types of camera and video equipment You are assigned in the New Product Development Section and you are responsible for the possibility to launch the new camera or video product in the Sultanate of Oman.

Number of students in a group: Not more than 5 students More specifically, your presentation covers the following:

  • Conduct an analysis using secondary sources of Intonation on tho product area in Oman.
  • Present your ideas on the most effective ways to conduct primary consumer research into the market, focusing on consumer attitudes and' behavior.
  • Give a summary of a communications strategy to target your proposed customers.
  • Present your findings by means of the formal presentation to the 'management team' (tutors and other students).
  • Make sure that you acknowledge your sources (References) for any facts and figures that you use.
  • Presentation will not be more than 20 minutes, followed by 5 minutes of questions from the management team. Each student needs to participate In the presentation.
