Having a professional philosophy gives a potential employer a chance to see what you think about your profession and what is important to you. You can check in with your philosophy periodically throughout your career to make sure you remain on track professionally.

Review readings for examples of Vision and Mission statements, as well as finding your Passion. Write Mission and Vision statements. Mission and Vision statements should be short, just one to four sentences each. It should be something you can easily memorize. Both should easily fit on one page.
