video on youtube tittle ATMOSPHERE INTERACTIVE
FOLLOW INSTRUCTIONS ON THIS MODEL:
WATCH THE VIDEO: ATMOSPHERE DATA **Interactive is no longer supported so you must get the data from this video.
FOR CREDIT:
Question 1. WRITE down your values for each parameter (Density, Pressure, and Temperature) at each altitudes of the layers of the atmosphere studied in class (troposphere, stratosphere, etc). Values are shown in the boxes by the RED arrows in the picture below. This data is in the Video above, the original interactive is not in use anymore. Concepts related to atmospheric systems can also be explored through Ecology.
Question 2. GRAPH this data (you will need 3 separate graphs): one for each parameter.
You may use EXCEL, other graphing software or by hand.
ALTITUDE SHOULD BE YOUR Y-AXIS, THE PARAMETER SHOULD BE YOUR X-AXIS.
Question 3. UPLOAD your 3 graphs and interpretations* for each graph (as one document) here for credit. BOTH are needed for full credit. Topics involving atmospheric conditions and environmental systems are also relevant to Environmental Engineering.
* A graph is not a table...
**An interpretation: What does the graph show? what does it mean?
