Assessment task - Research project - Write a white paper for ICO, create tokens, and commit a transaction. "White paper" is business plan in FinTech parlance. The task is to write a white paper for an imagined Initial Coin Offering (ICO). The paper should be within 1,000 - 2,000 words. Follow the blog post "What is an ICO (Initial Coin Offering) and How Does it Work?" by Bob Mason as your guideline and use White Paper example, search white papers on the Internet for better understanding of the subject. In the paper the student should specify his or her original business/technological idea, how many tokens she or he plans to issue and on which blockchain, what rights they give to tokenholders and/or what do they represent. You can choose NEM/Symbol (refer to Week 3 practice materials: video manual how to use Symbol wallet - follow announcements on when it will be available) or use any other public blockchain of your choice. In any case use only TESTNET (!) version of the blockchain, claim testnet cryptocurrency on Faucet, never use real cryptocurrency for this task. The task must contain Annex: your short report on performed ICO where you specify Transaction ID of your token issue, and at least one Transaction IDs, where you sent these tokens to someone. Transaction IDs should be specified as links to an online blockchain explorer. Tip: Collaborate with other students if you wish, so you can buy someone's tokens, someone will buy yours, use the Forum to exchange addresses and discuss the task.
