Requirements: Choose from one of the two essay topics listed below to compose a 4 to 6 page final research paper. Keep in mind that this is a formal academic essay; therefore, your essay must have a clear thesis statement, supporting claims, and substantial evidence from the assigned course readings and from your general experience in AFAM190. This assignment is due in class on Nov. 29, no exceptions.
