Imagine that the Texas Legislature just passed a state law forbidding all pharmacies and medical providers (including hospitals, clinics, surgical centers, and physicians) in the state of Texas from advertising that they offer contraceptive services or sell contraceptives. The law forbids all advertisements in the state in any form, including TV, radio, electronic and print media, billboards, pamphlets, and signs on any building.

In support of the law, the state legislators argued that when young, unmarried people can easily find contraceptives, they are more likely to have sex, which can transmit infections, and is also immoral. Would this law be valid and enforceable? How would the court analyze such a case? Would the law be likely to be upheld or struck down? Why?
