As a juvenile, WIU was found delinquent for physically assaulting his football coach and was placed on probation for two years, with additional conditions; such as, anger management, restitution, and 60 hours of community service. He successfully completed all conditions of probation. He was also charged with DUI while he was a college student at WIU, and received two years of court supervision at age 21.
