Your post should address the following:

Part A: Classical Conditioning

Explain how you might utilize classical conditioning to change your or someone else's behavior. In your summary, make sure to do the following:

• Designate whether you are extinguishing a behavior or trying to a new behavior. Explain specifically the behavior change and how you will conduct the conditioning.
• Identify the Unconditioned Stimulus and Unconditioned Response.
• Identify the Conditioned Stimulus and the Conditioned Response.
• How will you deal with the possibility of extinction?
• Will Stimulus Generalization be an issue? Is it something you will want to have happen or need to avoid?

Part B: Operant Conditioning

Explain how you might utilize operant conditioning to change your or someone else's behavior. You must choose positive or negative reinforcement and NOT punishment. In your summary, make sure to do the following:

• Designate whether you are extinguishing a behavior or trying to a new behavior. Explain specifically the behavior change and how you will conduct the conditioning.
• Identify your positive reinforce or negative reinforce.
• Explain the concept of shaping and how you will use it to obtain your desired results. Be specific.
• Will you be using continuous or intermittent scheduling in the beginning? Why?
• Identify and explain the type of final reinforcement schedule that you will use: Fixed-ratio, Fixed-Interval, Variable-Ratio or Variable-Interval.
