Regarding chapter "Emotion and Conflict, Why it is important to understand how emotions affect conflict and how conflict affects emotions" by Evelin G. Lindner, in her conclusion (2006) writes: "We have to learn to swing back and forth," get into the others' perspectives and feelings, and then move back into our own perspective...we need, in the final analysis, to learn to 'wage good conflict"( page 290 ).
