You have read Unit 1 in its entirety. The content in this unit has given you foundational knowledge by which to critically examine and form your own assessment as to whether or not a constitutional crisis is unfolding. (Review Section 2.3 and focus on separation of powers and checks and balances).

I am asking that you listen to an episode of The Ezra Klein Show titled "The Emergency Is Here." As you engage with this material, your primary task is to analyze how the constitutional principles you've studied are being applied or challenged by the Kilmar Abrego Garcia case, specifically focusing on the balance of power between branches of government and due process protections.
