Understanding individualistic and collectivist cultures is essential to understand how conflicts are understood and resolved, but also about how communication about conflict occurs. Additionally, one of the key elements of high-context cultures and how they communicate and behave in conflict situations is they express face for themselves as well as others.

Discuss: Please describe the major differences between individualistic and collectivist cultures and how cultures have been classified according to that distinction AND include your take on the key elements of high-context cultures and how people in those cultures communicate/behave in order to express/save face.
