The networks we have used so far in this chapter have not included a bias vector. Consider the problem of designing a perceptron network (Figure P7.3) to recognize the following patterns:
i. Why is a bias required to solve this problem?
ii. Use the pseudoinverse rule to design a network with bias to solve this problem.
