1. In the film, one of the officer's reports that the occupants are angry. How do you tell if someone is angry in a car that is driving at a high rate of speed and at night? What do you think really motivated the officer to make this statement.
2. When the vehicle was stopped, the officers formed a circle around the car and started firing. What is the danger in this? Can you actually tell who is firing the shots? Why is it important to know who is firing the shots?
3. What are your thoughts on the sergeant saying she wouldn't change her actions?
4. Why do you think the pursuit was not stopped when they realized the so called shot was a backfire and not an actual shot?
5. Why do officers use the "I was scared" language? What are your thoughts on the level of perceived threat in this situation?
