While sometimes making accommodations is required, it can still be disruptive, especially if other employees feel like someone is getting special treatment at their expense. This can be further enhanced when we can't share that the accommodation is being made because of a confidential issue. In cases like these, what can we, as leaders, do to support both the person with the accommodation and others affected by it?

Describe a scenario in which an accommodation was made. Please address the following: How did you manage the request? Discuss how the accommodation was supported or not supported by others in the team or environment. What went well? What didn't go well?
