PROMPT: If you could go back in time to visit/live in a time period covered by this specific class (American History from colonization to 1877), which time period would you choose and why? Please note - this does not include any other country or time period than what this course covers. Also, you can choose a time period we have not discussed yet this semester (for example, if you want to see Westward Expansion in the 1840s firsthand, but we have not talked about it, you can still use that option).

Guidelines for this assignment:

1. All writing is to be done in complete sentences.

2. All writing is to be presented with proper English grammar and mechanics. This includes, but is not limited to, proper nouns, subject/verb agreement, spelling,sentence construction, and punctuation.

3. Your response must answer the questions asked.

4. Your reflection can be written in first person.

5. The reflectionresponse you submit must be a minimum of 500 words. The word count should be included in your reflection response.

6. The response must be your original work. You may not copy from theinternet, your text, or other students.
