Prior to taking an aerobics class, each of 12 healthclub members is asked to rate the instructor on a scale in which 3 = "excellent," 2 = "good," and 1 = "poor." Following the class, each student is again asked to rate the instructor.

Given the following before-and-after ratings, use the 0.05 level in determining whether there has been a significant improvement in the ratings received by the instructor.
