Probabilities for Sum of Two Dice Many gambling games use dice in which the number of dots rolled is equally likely to be 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, or 6. For instance, craps is a game in which two dice are rolled and the sum of the dots on the two dice determines whether the gambler wins, loses, or continues rolling the dice.
