Where does the SVS fit in the Robust Learning Model
The SVS (TUW, 2024) is an integral part of the university and hence the RLM (Neumann & Neumann, 2010) as the university is based off this all-encompassing model. Specifically, the SVS would all under the organizational effectiveness component of the RLM (Neumann & Neumann, 2010) as the feedback received through this tool lends to assessing the sustainability and areas of continuous improvement. This tool can also lend to the Informational Technology component of the RLM (Neumann & Neumann, 2024) as it is accessible by the student through the Integrated Campus system and monitored through such as well.
Utilization of feedback received from SVS (TUW, 2024) lends to continuous improvement within the academic advising department as it provides a chance for overview, refresher training and allows one to self-assess their approaches to rectifying the matter moving forward. Furthermore, the feedback that is received, can be an opportunity for discussion and brain storming on maybe a different strategic can be utilized, resulting in additional contribution to the organizational effectiveness as well as the student services component of the RLM (Neumann and Neumann, 2010).
