When thinking about my ideal work environment, I think it would be a place that values collaboration, creativity, and one that believes in a work-life balance. The types of rewards and recognition that I would like to receive would be a cash bonus for meeting or exeeding goals set by the company that I work for. Then, I believe that for the recognition part, what I would most appreciate would be just letting me know if I do a good job or not on more important projects. That way, I know if I'm doing a good job or if I need to improve. I find the thing that motivates me to be engaged and put my best effort forth is a truly engaged leader who cares about all of our success. This, in turn, makes me work harder for all of the goals that might be set by a company.
