The state of Iowa enacted a statute that restricted the length of trucks that can use highways in the state to 55 feet. ABC Trucking Co. wanted to move goods through Iowa and now needed to use either smaller trucks or detach the double trailers and shuttle them through the state separately. Or, ABC could drive around Iowa ABC alleges Iowa's statute is unconstitutional. Does Iowa's statute violate the Constitution? If so, what is the basis?
